VIP (Violence Is Preventable) Project is a comprehensive strategy for connecting CWWA programs with schools across BC.

The objectives of the VIP Project are to:

  • Break the silence about violence against women by making it safe for youth and children to speak up in schools
  • Increase educator, school staff, parent and student awareness about violence against women and its effects on children
  • Facilitate partnerships between schools and communities to respond to the emotional, social, academic and psychological needs of children exposed to violence against women.
